Visitors to Gloucester Cathedral can be confident in the knowledge that if they were to suffer a first aid incident, staff members on site are now fully qualified to assist them after passing their Emergency First Aid at Work training. Staff from all corners of Gloucester Diocese have recently been training and re-training to ensure that they are fully prepared to deal with any first aid incidents that might occur. The staff threw themselves into the practical parts of the course and passed their written tests with flying colours. Having such a enthusiastic group was fantastic not to mention the incredible setting that I was able to teach in. I look forward to returning to the cathedral in order to teach more of their staff.
